Sixteen years of the Roads Report
Many of my clients don't realize that in addition to being a designer, I'm also a writer. Since 2000, I've been authoring the Roads Report column for Roads & Bridges
magazine, the most trusted source for road and bridge construction news (and also the place where I started my design career). This month marks my 16th anniversary as author of the column, which you can check out here

Yo-kai Watch is everywhere
Ink Stain Design is proud to serve as the social media manager for the North American adaptation of the hit Japanese kids show, Yo-kai Watch
. Perhaps you've seen the animated series on Disney XD (US) and Teletoon (Canada), or the Nintendo 3DS video game, or the comic book, or the mobile app, or the new Hasbro toy line. Just like the theme song says, "Yo-kai are everywhere!"

OpportuniTeas with Y&R's Kate Linder
"The Young and the Restless" star (and Ink Stain client) Kate Linder is presenting the fourth annual "OpportuniTeas For Independence"
High Tea in Toronto this Sunday to benefit March of Dimes. Ink Stain Design has managed the social media promotion of the event, which will also feature some of Kate's Y&R co-stars, plus Global Toronto anchor Carolyn MacKenzie co-hosting with Kate.

Mailing out holiday cards with a handwritten note (or at least a signature) is a great low-cost way to reconnect with customers and clients and show your appreciation. And with more and more well-wishers resorting to email or social media greetings, the opportunity to make an impact has never been better. Just don't leave the card design until December!

this weekend running social media promotions for the North American adaptation of the hit Japanese kids show, Yo-kai Watch
. With over 170,000 fans and 850 exhibitors expected to attend, NYCC is now the largest comic book and pop culture convention in North America. Geek is officially the new mainstream!
